CLAIRE LIU IS GRANTED A WILDCARD AT THE CLASSIC

This year’s Wimbledon Junior Champion Claire Liu will join pro players for the first time as a wild card at the Classic. With her win, Liu became the first woman from the United States in 25 years to win the Wimbledon Junior title. At 17 years old, Liu has yet to go pro officially. The Bank of the West Classic will mark her first pro tournament.
